Quadra-Trac II and Quadra-Drive II can use a new Selec-Terrain system, which has five settings: Auto, Sand/Mud, Sport, Snow and Rock. The system electronically coordinates up to 12 different power train, braking and suspension systems. Quadra-Lift offers five height settings: Normal, with 8.1 inches of clearance; Off-Road 1 increases clearance to 9.4 inches; Off-Road 2 increases the height to 10.7 inches. The 2011 Grand Cherokee offers two engines, a V-6 and a V-8. The V-6 is a new 3.6-liter, flex-fuel engine that produces 290 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque and is connected to a five-speed automatic transmission. Fuel economy with the new engine provides a range of about 500 miles on a tank of fuel. The V-8 is the tried and true 5.7-liter unit, developing 360 horsepower and 390 lb.-ft. of torque.
